Description

A solid maple picture frame that holds a standard 4 by 6 inch photo behind glass. The frame is 4 by 6 1/2 inches overall and 1/2 inch thick, with a black brass plate along the bottom edge that gives the engraving a place of its own.

We engrave the brass plate and, if you prefer, the maple itself, free and with no setup fee. On the plate, the lettering shows bright metal against black; on the wood, it comes out a warm toasted brown.

A common order is a photo from a change of command or a boot camp graduation at MCRD San Diego, with the name, rank and date engraved on the plate. The frame also suits years-of-service recognition and a first-anniversary photo gift.
