How your ship date is calculated

Every product page, your cart, and checkout show a live estimated ship date built from our real, current inventory. Items already on hand in our San Diego shop start production immediately. Items available from our local supplier add about 1 business day for delivery to us. Items that have to come from a regional warehouse add up to 4 business days for transit. On top of whichever of those applies, we add the time our production queue and a small buffer require — and all of it is counted in business days, skipping weekends and the dates on our holiday calendar.

If your order has more than one item, it ships together as a single shipment, so the date shown is set by whichever item in the order takes the longest to prepare.

Carriers & tracking

Orders ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on package size and destination. You'll receive a tracking email as soon as your label is created and scanned, so you can follow your order the whole way to your door.

Free shipping

Orders that meet the free-shipping threshold shown in your cart qualify for free shipping automatically — no code needed. Your cart will tell you exactly how much more to add, if anything, to unlock it.

Local pickup

Prefer to skip shipping entirely? Choose local pickup at checkout and pick up your finished order, free of charge, at our shop in San Diego, CA once it's ready.
