Choosing a client gift
A good client gift is useful, looks considered, and carries your name without shouting it. What businesses give most:
- Cutting boards and serving boards: used at home, seen by guests, and they last for years.
- Decanter and whiskey sets for your top accounts.
- Wine tool sets, a gift almost anyone can use.
- Journals, portfolios and desk clocks for clients who'll use them at work.

Design ideas
- Your logo, small and centered, with the gift itself doing the talking.

Every piece in a quantity carries the same design, and the price per piece drops as the quantity rises. A single-color version of your logo engraves best.
Tiering your list
Most companies split their list: a decanter set or large board for the top accounts, a wine tool set or journal for the next tier, and ornaments or coasters for everyone else. Ordering each tier as one design keeps the price per piece down.
Buying for a business
A free group account gives your team shared orders and artwork, purchase orders and net terms on request, and tax-exempt purchasing. For large runs, add items to a quote list or contact us.
When to order
Year-end gifts are the busiest time for client gifting, so start early: allow at least three weeks for artwork, proof, production and transit, and more for a large list.

How ordering works
- Choose the gift and quantity. Each item carries one design across its whole quantity, and the price per piece drops as the quantity rises. Lower-cost items have a minimum quantity, shown on the product page before you add to cart.
- Send your design. Upload your artwork while you order, or choose "Send artwork later" and use the secure link we email after checkout. Production waits until we have it.
- Approve your proof. We send a digital proof showing your design on the piece. Nothing is engraved until you approve it.
- We engrave, pack and ship. Everything is engraved in our own shop in San Diego County. Most orders ship 4 to 8 business days after your artwork is approved, and each product page shows an estimated ship date for the item and quantity you pick. Shipping is free over a set order total, or you can pick up free at the shop.
Artwork: laser engraving marks one tone, so bold, high-contrast artwork reads best. Send vector files (AI, EPS, SVG or a vector PDF) with text converted to outlines; PNG, JPG and PSD also work at 300 DPI at the finished size. Our artwork guidelines cover the details, and how ship dates work explains the timing. Artwork that needs rework before it can be engraved may carry a design service fee.

How should we split a client list across budgets?

Can we pay by invoice?
Yes, with a free group account. Request net terms from your group page; once approved, owners and purchasers can choose "Pay by invoice" at checkout.
Can you ship to each client directly?
Each order ships to one address. For gifts going to many addresses, contact us before you order.
Can I see the design before you engrave?
Yes. We send a digital proof and wait for your approval. If something needs changing, you ask for a revision and we send a new proof.
What if a gift arrives damaged or engraved wrong?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with a couple of photos, and we'll remake the piece or refund you at no cost.
