Choosing a closing gift
A closing gift works hardest when it gets used in the new house and your name comes to mind every time it does. What agents and lenders give most:
- A cutting board is the classic. It lives on the counter, gets used weekly, and a walnut or maple board looks right in almost any kitchen.
- A serving or cheese board suits buyers who entertain, and it's the first thing out when friends come to see the place.
- A wine tool set or decanter set for the toast on closing day.
- A BBQ set when the house comes with a backyard.
Two ways agents order
- One gift per closing. Order a single piece carrying the family name, the address or the move-in year. Most boards and sets can be ordered one at a time.
- A stock of logo gifts. Order coasters, boards or wine tools carrying your brokerage or team logo in one run, and hand them out as closings happen. Every piece carries the same design, and the price per piece drops as the quantity rises.
Design ideas
- The family name and move-in year, for example "The Garcias ยท Est. 2027".
- The street address or the home's coordinates, a quieter keepsake.
- A line drawing of the house, if you have clean artwork of it.
- Your logo, small, alongside the family name in the same design, so the gift is theirs first and your reminder second.
When to order
Closing dates move, so order once the date is firm and allow about three weeks. That covers your artwork, the proof and production, plus time in transit. If you close often, a stock of logo gifts on the shelf takes the timing out of it.

How ordering works
- Choose the gift and quantity. Each item carries one design across its whole quantity, and the price per piece drops as the quantity rises. Lower-cost items have a minimum quantity, shown on the product page before you add to cart.
- Send your design. Upload your artwork while you order, or choose "Send artwork later" and use the secure link we email after checkout. Production waits until we have it.
- Approve your proof. We send a digital proof showing your design on the piece. Nothing is engraved until you approve it.
- We engrave, pack and ship. Everything is engraved in our own shop in San Diego County. Most orders ship 4 to 8 business days after your artwork is approved, and each product page shows an estimated ship date for the item and quantity you pick. Shipping is free over a set order total, or you can pick up free at the shop.
Artwork: laser engraving marks one tone, so bold, high-contrast artwork reads best. Send vector files (AI, EPS, SVG or a vector PDF) with text converted to outlines; PNG, JPG and PSD also work at 300 DPI at the finished size. Our artwork guidelines cover the details, and how ship dates work explains the timing. Artwork that needs rework before it can be engraved may carry a design service fee.

Yes. Most cutting boards, serving boards and wine sets can be ordered one at a time, carrying the family name, address or move-in year.
Can I put my brokerage logo on the gift?
Yes. Include your logo in your artwork, alongside the family name if you like. Keep it small so the gift feels like theirs first.
Can I stock up on logo gifts to hand out later?
Yes. Order one logo design across a larger quantity and the price per piece drops at each volume break. Keep them on hand for closings as they happen.
Can my brokerage pay by invoice?
Yes, with a free group account. Request net terms from your group page; once approved, owners and purchasers can choose "Pay by invoice" at checkout.
What if a gift arrives damaged or engraved wrong?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with a couple of photos, and we'll remake the piece or refund you at no cost.
